ART FOR ANY STYLE
It has been said that art speaks to people in different ways. It doesn't have to be expensive to be important (in fact I purchase most of my art through antique stores or thrift stores) - it just has to feel right for you and your space. Art adds personality, color, depth, interest and intrigue. Purchasing and decorating art for your home shouldn't be daunting....one good rule of thumb is to pepper your walls with artwork in different mediums, mediums that coordinate and compliment each other, your house and personality. Where you might use landscapes and line drawings in one room, it may be fitting to use a modern textile piece is another. Don't be afraid to mix and match....but do keep it authentic and whenever possible purchase original art as it adds so much more value to a space.
