WHY CDS CABINET CO.?

To mirror the philosophy of our interior design studio, Choux Designs, our goal is to align ourselves with quality, timeless and sustainable partners. So when we found ourselves frustrated by the design limitations of various cabinet suppliers on the market, we went on the hunt to find a cabinet manufacturer who understood our need for creativity and craftsmanship.

CDS Cabinet Co. was founded with the intent to partner with the finest cabinet makers, to offer our clients a range of style options, custom capabilities and price points. While we love to design custom inset cabinetry, client budgets and space constraints often dictate the design direction of the cabinets. To meet all of these needs, we have partnered with Crystal Cabinet Works, one of the largest fully custom cabinet makers in the US, as well as local cabinet artisans.

• Crystal Cabinet Works, a family run cabinet company based in Minnesota, has been in business since 1947 …so they know a thing or two about building cabinets. The network of customer service and design support at Crystal is unparalleled, and as you might imagine coming from the mid-west, the team is as kind as can be and a true partner. Crystal gives CDS Cabinet Co the ability to offer our clients quality craftsmanship in various construction styles and price points. There isn’t much that Crystal can not build for us.

• Local Cabinet Artisans. Over the years, our design studio has worked with local woodworkers and cabinet shops when cabinetry was needed to be built on site. Maybe a cabinet couldn’t make it around the corner or up the stairs of a 1890’s townhome or maybe we needed a built-in curved banquette constructed on site. For these types of instances we partner with local artisans who are truly skilled at their craft, are a joy to work with but appreciate our design vision.
