It’s warm, layered and peppered with personality. I find that the majority of my clients aren’t looking for an interior overhaul but are interested in design elements that compliment the important pieces they already have. One of the most satisfying outcomes of finishing a space is seeing those beautiful heirlooms and story telling pieces get the spotlight they deserve. Sharing tidbits of the past through heirlooms and family treasures. Adding new, fresh and current elements help make those historic pieces shine. The #leetonridgerefresh project started as the gift of design from a daughter to her parents. We were granted permission to shop the house, which was chock full of beautiful antiques and interesting pieces. The conversation chairs in the living room were found in an upstairs bedroom and not often used. We sourced new contrasting and complimentary fabrics and tasked our local upholsterer to give them new life.
