Reimagining, redesigning, and remodeling older homes with smaller spaces while staying true to the history and character are our specialty. The #oldtownmodernvibe kitchen and family room remodel in Old Town Alexandria, VA is one of our most viewed and favorited projects. We can’t agree more! Blessed with 10’ high ceilings to work with, we made use of every inch and created a spectacular 10’ tall cabinet with built-in bar/coffee bar station, a reading nook with built-in book shelves and a Putnam Rolling Ladder to add form and functionality. Elevated details were added with transom windows, heated herringbone floors, painted brick, and plaster hood for a bit of texture. But, the shining star of the show may be the beautiful blue and brass ILVE range! A client with impeccable taste and an appreciation for the smallest of details made this a gem project and experience.
