Stone Cottage

A stone cottage can feel dark and cold. But, for our #middleburgstonecottage project, we made sure to pack on the layers to create a softer cozy country retreat feel, while still staying true to the stone fireplace and dark wood beams and furniture. We added layers and layers with bed linens and extra pillow throws, layers on the windows, walls and floor. The best addition, was the soaking tub down the hall with spectacular views of Virginia’s Countryside. A country escape indeed.
